I would love to learn more about the Python writing process. Who wrote what, where did they get the ideas from, etc etc. This video defiitely piques my interest in the subject, answers some questions, but makes me want to know MORE!!!! Monty Python forever!

Yes, someone told me about the “reply” video and I watched it. It perplexes me that Mr. Idle, or whoever selected the YouTube comments for him, chose mine rather than the comment by Salvadormarley to which I was replying. I think that saying that Idle “has an American accent” is much sillier than analyzing the occurrences of certain vowels in his speech. Still, it is a (feeble) kind of celebrity to have Eric Idle reply to one’s comment on a YouTube video in another YouTube video.

Yup. And when the Doctor foils his plan for the umpteenth time, he can wave his fist at the Tardis as it dematerialises and scream “YOU BASTAAARD!”

Incidentally, Cleese was in an episode of Doctor Who as an art critic. Although perhaps you already know that, and indeed perhaps your own comment is in reply to a declaration of such a fact by another commenter further down this comments lift.

I don’t understand how most fans can pick a favorite python when they’re all so good at such different things and have worked on such diverse projects. I always wonder what the comparison standard is.
